Knowing that it shares a similar nationalist voter-base with the AK Party, the MHP now follows a policy to undertake ‘nationalism' on its own through a propaganda accusing the AK Party of the reconciliation process.

Currently this country happens to be inhabited by media, academics and politicians that are ready and willing to embrace the devil itself at the drop of the single word “AKP.” Throughout the Solution Process, they worked very hard at getting the PKK to violate the truce, and now that it has happened they are working equally hard at finding excuses for it.

While the PKK-HDP keeps declaring “self-government” and setting up “cantons” in various towns and cities, all the time drenching the country in blood and terror, the CHP, the MHP and the Doğan Media Group are still busy debating whether Erdoğan has exceeded his powers or not.

The PKK with its terrorist attacks and the HDP with its political support for the terrorist organization are both stuck in a helpless position, revealing the fact that they are the main impediments to progress in the reconciliation process

The AK Party rose to prominence through its promise to break the tutelage of the state over politics, as represented by the CHP. Therefore, it is natural that the two parties failed to find enough common ground to form a coalition
