Six stages in the USA’s PKK strategy

When Obama became president, he adopted a dual Kurdish strategy. Common economic interests were highlighted so as to prevent South Kurdestan and Turkey being pitted against each other as two hostile entities. With regard to Turkey, the Kurdish question was broken down into two subheadings of democracy and the PKK. This strategy then changed dramatically with the intervention in Syria as different interests and expectations came to clash. The US updated its Kurdish strategy in a way that heralded the apocalypse.

It is difficult to achieve results from the struggle against terror unless those who provide it with protection are exposed. The media and the intellectual community who have been targeting those criticizing the PKK are more to blame than those who actually beat the Kurdish artist almost to death.

New period with Kurds

The attitude of Kurdish society reflects that the feeling of distrust from both sides is profound. For now, the PKK does not have anything to do about it. Its only hope is a mistake or an inefficient attitude from the government. The government, on the other hand, will try to rebuild trust by implementing what can be done and introducing the 10-article rehabilitation package.
